Book by Emielyn Das & Harrison Lewis

SYNOPSIS
The Dogwood Trees is a contemporary folk/pop coming-of-age musical that explores the relationship between a queer college student and his traditional conservative father. When Hunter goes off to school at a progressive New England university, he is forced to reconcile its overwhelming difference with that of his small Southern hometown. As he begins to understand and come to terms with his own gender and sexuality, he must navigate the conflict this presents with the values of his family.
